A peer recovery center, On Our Own of Charlottesville provides adult members of the community support, understanding, and resources they need. The goal is to empower people to understand where they are, where they have been and to chart their own way forward on their path to recovery. The house welcomes anyone who needs support for whatever reason, and the team will do the utmost to give people what aid they need.

The facility offers complete family care, providing for newborns, children, teens, and adults of all ages. It also offers care for pregnant women and new moms for prenatal and postpartum care. Services expand across the continuum of prevention through acute care needs, as well as the management of chronic diseases.
