A small but superlative nursery, Eltzroth & Thompson Greenhouses opened in 1971. 50 years later, Carol and Dan Eltzroth's son, Jay, continues the family tradition started by his parents and their good friend, Jim Thompson, of growing top quality plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees. They go out of their way to make staff available to customers with questions, and offer design inspiration and conversation about gardening to anyone interested.
