Year after year, families gather at the Carter Mountain Orchard for their favorite orchard traditions. This includes sun-ripened peaches and mouthwatering ice cream in the summertime, and apple picking and fresh cider donuts in the fall. Throughout the year, a lively calendar of family-friendly events includes seasonal celebrations, sunset and live music events, and Cultivating Curiosity, a weekday summer program for children.

Charlottesville Ballet is a professional company, dance academy, and 501(c)3 nonprofit organization serving Central Virginia. Our mission is to elevate the art of dance through wellness and to make dance accessible to everyBODY. Education programs at Charlottesville Ballet Academy now serve over 700 students (ages 1-92) in three locations with over $280K given annually in scholarships and financial aid.
