Elementary School

Description

The motto at Johnson Elementary School is "we are family," and that designation could not be truer. Small class sizes and high expectations create a climate for academic excellence. Recently, Johnson has earned repeated honors from the Virginia Index of Performance program and has been a Title 1 Distinguished School. Serving preschool through grade four, they are dedicated to making children better, brighter citizens.

Description

Charlottesville Catholic School is a nationally recognized school offering Junior-Kindergarten through eighth grade and is welcoming to all faiths. Set in a rich community nurturing environment, students are guided through the instruction of the core subjects of reading, language arts, math, science, and social studies. Fifth grade is utilized as a transition year, preparing students for the next step in middle school.
